Disclaimer : this is just an experience i would like to share with readers. Any names mentioned are for illustration purpose and if there are similarities, they are mere coincidence. This is not slendering or accusationsational post.

Oki, so i had got an appt with bellezza and tanjong pagar, i chose from the ala carte a treatment which cost 100(yes i didnt pay like peanuts)

Anw, i tot since i alr have a balance with them i wouldnt be bothered by those hardselling. But no i was horde with, i need to let u know the promotions blah blah blah nonsense when i have already firmly rejected not just once but thrice.

So, i just wanted to burn the balance away, and when she said she would try to ask her manager(thrs part2 to this) if i could use the "latest" tech and cancel off the 150 with just normal extraction. So i said oki no harm, why not.

So i proceeded to the room and change, she came in an said the machine was locked in the room blah blah blah(so how to customers who wanna have the treatment?) nvm, benefit of the doubt. Whilst doing the extraction she continued talking about their microdemebrasion machine and stuff(which i reflected tt i see no improvement, instead it kinda worsened cheek's condition(mind u, my diet and sleeping habits didnt change in fact i was drinking more water and exercising more regularly)

Then came the mask, after removal of the mask, i guess thr were some stain left by the hardened mask on the towel bed. And the beautician tried to scrub the remains off with god knows the same cotton pad before she used it to clean my face. Coz thr was no running tap soon or movements after the scrubbing(like discard the used cotton pad and get new one). At tt point my mind was just, omfg?!? Why she didnt change a new piece of cotton pad.

Long story short, after the extraction. There were redness, but this is the first time ive seen my face so red, blotchy and swollen. Oh she even said" the next day when u wake up will have white stuff just wipe away"(i didnt know what was it then, because this is the first time im hearing a beautician telling me this.)

Blah blah blah, i went home, coulsnt stand the sight of the extreme redness hence i applied a thin layer of 100% aloe gel and iced it, drank more water.

Next day when i woke up, i know what she meant by white stuff..... FREAKING PUS....... Srsly, extraction shd be finished off with like pore minimization thingy. Yet, the pore was further congested with BACTERIA, explaining the pus. So i went for facial to worsen my congested pores ya? Nvm about the pus, my face was redder and more blotchy and more swollen than before. Like u know underlying swollen acne tt kind and it freaking hurts like thrs a pimple. What the hell.

Oki so i went ahead to call them and told them about it and said i needed to speak to an incharge. They said the in charge would return my call, and guess who called me. The lady who served me utd called me claiming she was the in charge. I could regconise her tone and i immediately asked her "were u the one who served me? " she replied yes. OH GREAT, so u tell me u have to ask ur manager ytd, and ure the in charge today? WHERES THE CREDIBILITY AND ETHICS.

So i went on to question her authorithy and reflected my issue. She gave in and said "ok i will get my manager to call you" yeh till now i haven gotten any call and i have an angry face raging at me, With underlying bumps and possible scarring coz thrs scab.....

No pictures were taken because i was too terified at my face. But it was similar to bunbun's just tt it wasnt so congested.

So.... ytd I went to Jaben at The Adelphi with J, he was getting me my bday present. Was deciding between LG Photo Pocket, earphones, or watches.

Anw.... So when I was at Jaben's i actually was looking at the very basic Klipsch S3

BUT........ I ended up looking at.......... Shure, ATH, Beyers, Sennheiser. and spent a good 45 min in Jaben's. (I felt sooooo stressed, BECAUSE I CANT MAKE UP MY MIND.

oki, so i tried s3, I have pretty odd ears, in ear fall out of my canal very easily( I DO NOT HAVE HUGE EARS! lol)

My bose hurt my ears pretty badly, and the wear and tear was pretty bad too. (I got electrocuted by the cables.)

Long story short I was down to 2 choices : ATH IM01 n SHURE215SE

I used various music to test the different distinctive instrumental/vocal differences.

Two door Cinema

Somehow, IDKY, the vocals were kinda clearer and warmer for ATH and shure was a tad flat.

Tiesto - Red light

This song was used to test the edm, omg, there was a distinct difference, the hithat, and snare. it was so evident tt ATH is the winner for instrumental.

Somehow, Shure was a little congested, i felt like there were constant bombing. But, at the same time the vocal for Shure was so warm and nice.

Avenge 7fold

To test the electronic guitar for the alt rock genres. I was air guitaring to ATH. hahahaha, and like i tot, Shure was still flat for this.

Bon Jovi

The kick was ATH was thr, thou Shure didnt have the DADAMMMMMMM kick for "You gave love a bad name" I could still hear Jon Bon Jovi's voice ringing in my head. HAHA

Boyce Avenue

Evidently, this genre focuses on vocals and pure instrumental.

ATH, had this very distinct instrumental sound, you could almost hear the slight bases in the background.

Shure had more vocals, the piano wasnt as deng, dang, crisp in comparison.

So, the differences are actually very subjective, it depends on the type of music u listen to, for unplugged, vocal junkies - Shure would prolly be a better choice.

Whereas, for edm crayers, go for ath.

Shure - USA

ATH - Japan

What made me choose ath......

- A FREE CABLE, HAHAHAHAHAH!

- and the person told me it was more durable. Im like the world's most uncaring human being towards my belongings. So durability is very impt.

- Lastly, its not as common as Shure, I SEE SHURE EVERYWHERE I SWEAR, esp the limited ed one. ( Not very limited ed huh?)

Once again, these are just my personal opinions, and it is subjected to my personal preference for various genres.

Hi!! Thanks to Carousell and SabineCabana(a super cheap and good shop on Carousell) i got into this community. And i got to know the lao ban niang of Natasha studio!

Thanks to Michelle, I got the chance to see what a dance battle is like!!! 60 teams! Omg, the atmosphere was crazily hyped!

Look at the amount of people in studio two! The event started prompted at 6pm!

Snapback topsy turvy spin to determine who starts the battle round first! And each dancer will have 30s to free style it out!!

I wish i had tt swag! :(

Thats Ivan(the one w pink booties), my new hiao friend whom Ive cliqued so well with at Natasha!

And... Thats Michelle! Cant miss her pastel pink highlights within those ice blondes. Her battle round was the most impressionable because her partner had this yoyo routine while she baby freezed! Haha.

Presenting to u the winner : Kai! His partner Josh isnt in my picture sadly! But congrats to the two world class dancers. Seriously, and not to mention their battle opponent, the two girls that i honestly thought have done a superb job, especially when your opponent is Josh and Kai, i cant imagine those nerves!

8 open classes in 1month/3months(? Im not too sure) for just 100bucks. They have all kinds of class! And nested in City Square mall. Super convenient! A homely place that assures quality and quantity(the amount of friends you make, countless)

WATCHDOGS

So everyone should know this game and I've just started on it! (slow I know). Its about Aiden( the guy u see on the cover) gaining access to the CTOS system and is able to hack the whole of Chicago, inclusive of atms and profiling! Sound cool huh. (The rest of the storyline, about protecting his family, and why did he start on being a vigilante, you guys play it to know it! -NO SPOILERS)

As you can see its all about hacking the systems, which can get quite crazy because you gotta race against time. Like even hacking the barriers to block the police cars. Too slow - miss the cue, too fast - you get trapped too! haha took me some time to get the hang of it.

The cameras that are hackable sometime gives me headache cause i tend to forget which camera i started with, OMG, haha maybe I do not have that fantastic a memory!

A lot of you might ask GTA or WATCHDOGS.

Well, I would say like storyline wise watchdogs has more of a flow compared to GTA.

But the little side things that can be done, like hooking up a girl and sort, GTA would be the winner. I mean you could just blimp into a airport and steal a fighter jet out (provided you dont die).

Thou the hacking system is very innovative and fresh. Honestly, after a while, (Im only 2 hours into the game) I find it a little repetitive.

Driving around - It pretty fine, I quite a bad driver, I ram into everything for GTA. Thou i still do for watchdogs and having to juggle w the hack tweaks I still find it manageable!

PS when ure in mission, I think this game is def more difficult to escape the police compared to GTA, like not a lot more diff.

I will continue to play more of it and update subsequently about the gameplay!!

Recently theres a hype over the sample store! So i jumped onto the bandwagon too!!!

Look at the cute packaging! Haha.

I got the La Roche-Posay melt in bb cream

Pardon my just woke up bare face! Haha.

Oki, so......

Before application,

And, 5 dots on the face...

Spreading... 20% blending out... 50% dabbing... 80% patpat.... 100% Completed and results....

I waited for 15 min for the bb cream to melt in and the tone is still the same....

(+) the consistency is kinda watery : easy application. It almost felt like holika holika aqua petite bb.

(+)Fragrance free ! Yay

(+) spf 50 PA+++ (the more + the better! )

(-) not for tanned ppl like me! Sobs

(-) And it has this smell(prolly coz its fragrance free duh. Haha)

Verdict : well i wont buy it. Unless they come out with a darker tone! Haha.

I removed it after 30min coz i didnt wanna walk out of house looking like my typical kampong aunts back in Thailand who slap baby powder on their face! Thanks sample store for this amazing concept and deal so girls can try the product before head diving into buying the products.

ACIC 2014

Guess who went to ACIC today?! It used to be called SEACO but now its Asia Cheerleading Invitational Competition! Went down specially to support my favourite base and coach! Haha. And they did an awesomely hossume job!

Photos are taken from the back cause i was helping the event staff. Perks of knowing the staff, VIP seat!

Good job to all the teams tt participated. Lovelovelove the Thailand teams. Pity Crazy Dragons won 1st runner only.
